September 2010-Is Government Contracting for Your Business?

Learn the basics about government contracting including:  reasons to do business with the government, what products and services they purchase, an overview of the different agencies, opportunities for small businesses, what systems businesses need, how to find opportunities, what is the difference between a prime and sub contractor, marketing to the different agencies and how the bid process works.

October 2010-Stress Free and Easy Marketing with Results

Take control of your marketing.  Create and implement a marketing program that becomes automatic. This hands on workshop will show attendees how to identify their top target markets, strategies to reach these markets based on different budgets, develop an ongoing marketing calendar/schedule, allocate a budget (time is money) and track results to maximize return on investment.

November 2010-Manage Time and Increase Business!

Time is money. Learn how to manage, schedule and monitor time for the biggest results. Participants will be taught how to create and maintain a schedule, delegate, make educated decisions on the best use of their time and what will bring the biggest results to the bottom line.   Find out how to create habits that will save at least five hours a week including: developing systems, managing paper flow, organizing and scheduling e-mails and phone calls.  Take back your time and grow your business.

Participants will learn how to evaluate a business including: products, services, target markets, sales, expenses, cost of goods, inventory, profits, receivables, current customers, distribution and more. They will be given at least five ways that they can immediately cut the fat and increase profit including: how to reduce costs, negotiate payables and receivables, reduce loans and credit cards, analyze current marketing and sales techniques, implement policies to manage costs and expenses, review current economic indicators, market trends, competition, supply and demand for their products and services.

February-Tips for Filing Your Business Taxes

Participants will learn what tax laws have changed, standard and new deductions for 2010, payroll, state and federal requirements.   Participants are encouraged to bring tax questions.

March-Creating Customers For Life

The easiest and most cost effective way to increase sales is to tap into current customers and transition them into your sales force. Learn how to create, maintain and use a database for marketing. Just imagine if you had 100 customers referring friends, family, and associates business would be booming!

April-The Latest On Financing and Loans
